Coming from a long line of carpenters, Mr. Grant worked summers in junior high and high school, learning the construction trade from various local contractors. After high school, he went to work for a local company as a carpenter’s helper. After receiving expert tutelage from many great craftsmen, he honed his skills as a carpenter and later as a foreman, a superintendent, and finally an estimator. After 16 years honing his craft, people skills, and management ability, he embarked on his next great endeavor, starting Premier Construction in Longview, Texas, in the summer of 1997. That was very scary – like any new company, it started with modest sales, totaling only about $80,000 that first year. Now, years later, Premier Construction has average gross sales of about $2,500,000 per year. We find that being a company this size makes us large enough to give our customers what they need and yet small enough to be personal. We give you the attention you need. Nearly all our customers are repeat customers and some have become very good friends.
We have grown in size and moved to our new office that is a larger facility. We now have a large showroom to make your remodeling decisions easier.
Premier Construction is licensed by the city of Longview and is bonded and insured. All of our subcontractors are also insured for your protection. Some tradesmen, such as electricians, plumbers, and HVAC contractors are regulated by the state of Texas in addition to being licensed by the city of Longview. This all helps to ensure that your project is done safely and correctly.
